Rectangular Clarifier

Rectangular clarifiers are long concrete structures, which consist of individual basins with common inner walls, and inlet and outlet channels. Each tank basin is equipped with a separate sludge collection mechanism that transports the solids settled in the tank into a hopper for withdrawal or has a sludge suction collection mechanism that sweeps and removes solids accumulated at the tank’s bottom.

There are four different types of arrangement are available as per below. Four Shaft scrapper arrangements: This type of arrangement is available when need to remove the sludge from the bottom and floated scum from the top. Floated scum is collected on the top scum box and sludge is collected in the sludge box at the bottom.

Three Shaft scrapper arrangements: This type of arrangement is available when need to remove the sludge from the bottom which is collected at the bottom of the sludge box.

Two Shaft scrapper arrangements: This type of arrangement is available when need to remove the scum form top of the clarifier. This type of arrangement available in DAF system.

Two Shaft scrapper arrangements: This type of arrangement is available when need to remove the sludge form bottom which is collected at bottom in the sludge box. This type of arraignment available when need to use the tube settler or lamella plate for remove the sludge particles.
