Manual Bar Screen

In primary in general, the first stage of wastewater Treatment Bar Screen Assemblies is used in open channel (free surface) flow applications to separate & detain coarse debris and contraband.
These unusual solids have the potential for ‘clogging” the public sewer line, causing expensive cleaning and downtime of the sewer system. Bar Screens can be used for sanitary or stormwater applications. As opposed to expensive automatic rake screens, bar screens are more economical but require manual cleaning
Characteristics:
Screens are made of ASI 304, and AISI 316 stainless steel
Bar space is in the range of 25.50 mm
The screen is mounted at an angle Of 30: 45 degrees from horizontal
Bars are usually 8 mm in thickness and 30 mm in width.
Available to change dimensions on request.
A special case of manual screen:
It’s used in case there is no channel entrance, It can be fixed directly on the pipeline entrance. A special baffle is mounted to avoid water spatter and prevent suspended materials from a strong collision with bars which affects the process performan
